1-on-1 Coaching with Meg

In each coaching session, we’ll focus on the separation, divorce, or co-parenting topic that feels most pressing, such as…

  • Understanding the divorce process and exploring your options

  • Getting professional referrals and preparing for legal, financial, or co-parenting meetings

  • Navigating parenting and financial decisions with clarity

  • Processing the big emotions—grief, anger, fear, overwhelm

  • Planning how to talk with your kids and respond to their questions

  • Creating or refining your parenting plan

  • Solving co-parenting challenges

…and anything else that’s weighing on your mind.

Cost: $150 per 1-hour Zoom session

  • “The belief I most want to carry forward from today’s session: It’s ok to be the parent that I want to be with my kids, as well as the co-parent I want to be.

Regardless of anything or anyone else. It’s an independent aspect of me, and it’s not dependent on other people’s perceptions of me. I can see how impactful this will be for my kids. “

Here’s how we do it…

As your coach, I'm here to guide you through the challenging process of divorce, offering support and practical solutions to help you thrive in your post-divorce life.

Here's what I offer:

  • Emotional Support and Resilience: I listen to your concerns, provide emotional support, and teach techniques to help you build resilience to manage stress and uncertainty during this challenging time.

  • Planning and Goal Setting: I work with you to set specific, achievable goals and create a plan, whether it's handling legal matters, managing finances, changing careers (or going back to work) or setting-up your post-divorce life.

  • Practical Tools and Resources: I offer tools and resources to help you make decisions, improve communication, and navigate co-parenting or parallel parenting.

  • Preparation for Legal and Financial Matters: I help you prepare for key meetings with your co-parent, mediators, attorneys, financial experts, or other professional support, by making sure you're organized, have all the necessary information, and understand your options. (I can also provide referrals to professionals.)

  • Managing Difficult Exs: If you're dealing with challenging communication, or just don’t seem to be on the same page as your Ex, I can offer strategies for communication and boundary-setting to keep things as calm as possible.

  • Personal Growth and Development: I'll guide you through exercises to grow your self confidence, discover your strengths, and find new interests or goals.

  • Transitioning to a New Life: I can support you as you adjust to new living arrangements, consider re-entering the workforce, or explore new relationships.

I customize my 1-1 coaching to your unique situation and the life you want to create.

What do we talk about in a coaching session…

Sample topics include:

  • Preparing for meetings: mediation, co-parenting, or attorney.

  • Developing a plan for handling a holiday parenting schedule change.

  • Creating a strategy for handling texts from your co-parent that feel triggering.

  • Talking through the behavior of a step-parent and deciding how you want to communicate their concerns.

  • Deciding on your career goals, given your parenting schedule, and crafting an action plan for the next 3-months.

  • Making your plan for telling your kids about the divorce.

  • Looking at your finances so that you understand what you need to post-divorce.

Additionally, in each session, you’re invited to bring a “hot topic” you want help with. I’ll coach you on the issue so that you can leave with clear next steps, decisions made, and new strategies & tools.

I’ll be your biggest cheerleader, help you stay accountable for your goals, and track your progress. I will also teach new skills & techniques so that you continue to feel more capable and confident navigating this new phase.
